Description:
This workshop is geared toward the passionate theatre student, age 13 and up, who is interested in expanding their acting and singing skills for auditions, shows, and performances. This Master Class will include working one-on-one with a Broadway professional from New York City in a classroom setting. Students should come prepared with printed sheet music from 1 or 2 vocal selections and a willingness to sing, ask questions, and explore new ideas in front of their peers! An accompanist will be provided. This Master Class is limited to 12 participants. ABOUT THE ARTIST: Alexandra Zorn has traveled the country wearing glass slippers in the 1st National Tour of Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, is an original member of Laura Osnes’ hit concert series The Broadway Princess Party at the legendary Feintein's/54 Below in New York City, has led numerous classics and new musicals in and around New York, starring in the new musical adaption of Far From the Madding Crowd at Signature Theatre (NYC), Rodger's and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! at The 5th Avenue Theatre, the new musical adaption of Audrey Hepburn's Roman Holiday, West Side Story, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, Les Miserables, et al., and has worked extensively with esteemed Voice Teacher Joan Lader, in the Estill Method of singing for over 12 years. Alexandra is a proud member of Actors Equity Association. *Note: This class requires a minimum of 5 students in order to run. Registrants will be refunded if enrollments do not reach minimum requirement.
