Instruction builds on previously learned skills and introduce elementary backstroke. Deep water safety skills are taught such as bobbing to safety and treading water. Diving from the side of the pool is introduced. Upon successful completion of this class, the participant should be ready to enter into the Penguin or Seahorse class of the Progressive Level Program.

Required age: 3 - 5 on the day of the activity

Notes: No refunds will be given after the class begins. Refunds given if notified three (3) business days before the class begins. A 25% service charge will be assessed to each activity cancellation. *Active Duty Military members receive the City of Monterey Resident Rate.
