Description:
Here is an exciting opportunity for participants to learn the basics of track events such as Sprints, Long Jump, and Relay Races. Skills and proper techniques of running, jumping, and athletic movements will be presented in a positive, team-like environment. Registration is limited to the first 75 participants. If we cancel a program for any reason, participants will be entitled to a full refund or transfer to another activity. Classes will be canceled three (3) business days prior to the first class if the class does not meet minimum enrollment. If you prefer, our staff will assist you in finding another activity that meets your needs. No refunds will be given after the class begins. Refunds given if notified three (3) business days before the class begins. A 25% service charge will be assessed to each activity cancellation. *Participants are eligible to attend on registered days only. Parking on campus at Monterey Peninsula College will require a valid permit such as: a current semester, annual, or daily (one day permit available at permit dispensers at various parking lots). Parking without a valid permit will result in the issuance of a citation. Required age: 4 - 14 on the day of the activity
Notes: Classes will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays at Monterey Peninsula College Track (980 Fremont St Monterey, CA 93940). Please send your participant with closed-toe shoes and plenty of water each day. Participants are eligible to attend on registered days only.
