Description:
Summer Junior Tennis Camps will be offered at King Arthur Park. There is no set age range but the program is recommended for students entering grades 2nd - 7th grade. Each program will run Monday through Thursday with Friday being a make up day for two weeks. Each day will be 1 hour long and cover a variety of tennis topics, fundamentals, and games. It is recommended that any player too old or are tennis match ready visit www.tennisinmankato.com for advanced lessons For all camps please wear tennis shoes, bring water, and a racquet. (Limited racquets will be available to borrow if necessary) 2nd-4th grade: Group games and interactive play will be the core of this program along with development of fundamental strokes. 5th-7th grade: Players will work on topspin ground-strokes, volleys, and continental serves gaining the capacity for rally tennis and games. Classes are limited to 14 per group. Players can be moved to other age grouping with permission of parents/guardians
