• Independence in submerging, glides, and propulsion skills
• Necessary skills to pass: move in water, front and back with combined arm and leg actions, float and glide unassisted, submerge and retrieve an object, and complete most or all of the skills three body lengths unassisted

Prerequisites: Able to breathe regularly while floating(front and back), front and back glide and ability to move (arm & leg actions) 2-3 body lengths mostly unassisted
