Description:

Kayak roll sessions are available to the public to practice their water-based kayak skills during the winter months! Bring your canoe or kayak and work on rolling, tricks, or basic maneuvering. Kayak roll sessions are NOT instructed and helmets, PFD's and the ability to demonstrate a wet exit are required.

If you wish to have private kayak instruction, please message ryan at SalidaRaces@cityofsalida.com and he can help get that set up.

Required age: 10+ on the day of the activity

Notes: Kayak roll sessions are meant for people who already paddle to improve their skills. New people are welcome to come and learn, but they will need to supply all of their own gear and will need to find someone to teach them. There are no instructors scheduled during these times.

Prerequisites: Must wear a helmet, PFD, and be able to demonstrate a wet exit.
