Registration Closes May 12th, 2024

The 14u Softball league is live pitch. Participants should bring their own glove. Gloves can be loaned out from the recreation department as well. Batting gloves are encouraged. Players can bring their own bats or use the ones that are provided. 

Games will start on June 3rd, 2024 with the Game schedule being sent out on May 24th, 2024. Game times will be as follows Monday nights in Buena Vista and Thursday Nights in Salida.  

5:30 PM - 6:30 PM 

6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

7:30 PM - 8:30 PM

8:30 PM - 9:30 PM

Practices will be scheduled by the coach to best suit the players and the coach. Practice schedules will be sent out the week of May 13th, 2024. 

Age groups may be combined to make as even teams as possible.

Signing up for youth softball comes with a team shirt and the size will be requested during checkout.

Notes: -Please email chris.graves@cityofsalida.com if you are interested in coaching or volunteering. -The coach's child or one of the coach's children will get free registration. -Participants supply their own gloves and cleats, they may bring other equipment like bats, arm guards, helmets and the league will supply the rest of the equipment.

Prerequisites: No previous experience is required!
