Description:

This class is intended to introduce silver metal clay to students new to metal clay or experienced in metal clay.  All are welcome.  While putting their creative ideas into action students will learn the basics of working with silver metal clay and more.  A molded pendant with a bail and a bezel set stone, an adjustable ring, a pillow bead and a toggle clasp will be made during the 8 weeks.  In addition to forming the aforementioned pieces, students will learn how to add chain, attach findings and clasps.  Students should expect to finish up the 8 weeks with 4 finished pieces of jewelry.
