SUNDAY - VIDEO GAME DESIGN & CODING + SPHERO ROBOTICS & LEGO ENGINEERING || GRADES SK-2

This exclusive one-of-a-kind weekend program is designed to challenge students in a fun, non-competitive environment as they design and create their own unique video games. This program also introduces students to the fun and exciting world of Robotics & Coding + LEGO Engineering!!

For the first 45 minutes of the program each week, students will learn how to create up to 3 different video game projects. For each game, they will learn how to add characters, obstacles, backgrounds, and multiple skill levels. Students will also be able to fully customize their title pages, level buttons, high-score boards, instruction pages and cheat codes. Students will also get to challenge their gaming skills on the last week of the program, with our Bonus CREATE IT “Video Game” Challenge!

For the second half of the program each week, Students will be amazed as they explore how to program, customize and control over 5 different Sphero Robots while learning a variety of basic, intermediate, and advanced techniques along the way! Students will also be put to the test using the Lighting Lab APP as they compete in several SPHERO Robotic challenges & competitions. 

At the end of the program each student will receive a copy of their video game creations  to take home on a BRAND NEW USB KEY!

BUT THATS NOT ALL!

Every other week, Students will be challenged to truly think outside the box as they design and create a variety of different themed LEGO creations! Students will learn the basics of planning, problem solving and teamwork, while constructing and exploring all the possibilities that exist with LEGO. Students will also be put to the test as they compete in multiple LEGO engineering challenges along the way!
