ASSOCIATE EXAMS 

Thank you for choosing us for your 2024 dance education.

Notes: For the month of June your dancer will embark on back level studying. This entails studying all levels from pre-primary to the level beneath the associate. Once a week they will study on the designated day given for 3 hrs, for each genre purchased. Dancers must bring their own note book and cherish this book, as all the notes taken, they will need to have to answer theory questions in their associate exam.

Starting in July, study times will change to a full day of studying (7 hr day) once a week. Again on which ever day has been scheduled for each genre. This will require dancers to bring their lunch and snacks with plenty of water. Studio dress code is required with shoes & proper hair according to genre. Again dancers note book will be required, as we will be working on their associate level, barre, centre, floor exercises in which they will be physically examined in. 

Each genre is $1000.00 + hst (This will include roughly 72 hrs of work) This is a discounted rate. 

Examination fees are not included in this fee. Once dancer is ready to take the exam, an examiner will be scheduled to come in or potentially the dancer may have to attend another location to take the exam. This information is not available till all paper work has been filled out at time of applying for exam. All dancers must be 16yrs to take associate exam. 

If your dancer is not yet ready to take the associate level by the end of the course, another course will be offered again next season or the dancer can make arrangements with Shannon to continue the study come fall season. 

If your dancer is not quite 16yrs, they can help assist in fall lessons in that genre they are working in, till their birthday. Hands on experience (volunteer work) can be applied to their application for associate exam, which will be highly impressive. At that point, an exam will be arranged. Exams will be scheduled according to the association, we do not have say as to when.
