Description:

(AM) Phenomenal Physics

Magnets: How do they work? What's in fizzy tabs that makes them fizz? Why do toy cars eventually slow down and come to a stop? The answer: Physics! Campers will tackle some daunting challenges by performing hands-on experiments and tracking data to extrapolate the info they need to form their own answers. Learn about kinetic and potential energies and how they interact with our natural world to make some pretty spectacular things happen. Check out “Phenomenal Physics” to see why Newton is way more than just the guy who watched an apple fall off a tree.

(PM) Augmented Reality with OSMO

It's no secret that kids love the intuitive touch controls, bright displays, and fun apps that tablets offer. Since we're always looking to take tech to the next level at Engineering For Kids and give value to screen time, we're offering a new augmented reality program to get kids physically interacting with their apps! Osmo is a top-of-the-line interactive experience that lets kids adjust the game board pieces in front of the tablet to build progress on their adventures with guided instruction from our teachers. Business and finance skills, literacy, logic, and so much more are all on the docket for Augmented Reality with Osmo!
