There's a big problem at the local zoo; the animals are very unhappy! They have outgrown their cages and are bored by their basic, concrete surroundings. In these lessons, campers will learn about engineering, mathematics, architecture, and biology while advancing their literacy skills through a variety of daily, animal-based story reads. They will work as zoo engineers and zoologists while using the Engineering Design Process to design and build solutions to a variety of challenges. (PM) Sphero and Edison Jr. Robotics

Sphero is a rolling ball robot that teaches all manner of programming concepts. Kids will learn the intricacies of robotic automation to take on escalating challenges, including tricky mazes and obstacle courses the entire class will work together to design and build. Our brand-new Edison robots provide a low entry barrier for kids looking to take their robots to the next level. Automation is just the start with this clever bot that can think for itself and adapt to its surroundings. This high-tech week will certainly have your kid talking well after it's over.
