(AM) Virtual and Augmented Reality Programming with CoSpaces

Campers will build immersive virtual/augmented reality games and stories in this ever-popular CoSpaces camp. The CoSpaces platform contains a library of countless 3-D scenes, buildings, characters, and objects which students can place in their own virtual worlds. Using simple programming principles, campers can make their worlds come alive by responding to the player's in-game actions and choices. And best of all, students will be proud to share their creations with family and friends at the end of camp!

(PM) Minecraft Civil Engineers

In this build-centric, collaborative Minecraft program, campers will form small teams to tackle increasingly difficult civil engineering challenges. They'll need to take stock of their resources before designing a spanning bridge, construct a skyscraper capable of withstanding a powerful earthquake, and more. Each day, campers will document their progress and outline their design processes to inform their future engineering decisions. Our brand-new educational version of Minecraft is perfect for beginners and long-time players alike, stuffed to the brim with tutorials, late-game extensions, and quality-of-life features not found in mainstream Minecraft. Best of all, our campers will be playing on private servers with just the other kids in the room. *No Minecraft account is necessary to attend.
