Camp Title: World Games Engineering

Camp Description: The competition is heating up with the Engineering For Kids World Games! Campers will compete for the gold as they take on exciting engineering challenges related to the greatest athletic competitions. They will explore a wide variety of science and engineering concepts related to various athletic events while applying the Engineering Design Process. Get ready to step up to the podium! Engineering For Kids' programs are Cognia STEM Certified, STEM.org Accredited, and aligned with National Teaching Standards. Join Engineering For Kids of North Atlanta at HippoHopp Atlanta as we declare victory in some World Games this summer!

Lunch and Snacks: Each camper must bring a lunch that does not need to be microwaved, 2 healthy snacks, and a water bottle daily. The lunch box/bag and water bottle must be labeled with the camper's name.

HippoHopp Atlanta Play Area Time: As a requirement for children to utilize the play area at HippoHopp, a parent/guardian must sign a HippoHopp waiver online at least one day prior to the first day of their first week of summer camp. Children are required to wear socks when utilizing the play area. Adults are required to wear socks when walking through the play area. Sign the waiver at the link below:

Refund Policy

The registration fee for this camp is refundable if requested at least two weeks before the first day of the camp. 

Behavioral Policy
Engineering For Kids of North Atlanta has the right to remove a student from the camp at any time. If a continual behavior problem persists, one or more of the following consequences will be enforced:
• Staff will discuss the behavior with the student and the parent/guardian.
• The student will be given a “time out” or will not be allowed to participate in a subsequent activity.
• The parent/guardian will be notified by the program director that the child will not be allowed to return to the camp.

*There are no refunds when a child’s behavior requires that he/she be removed from the camp.

Note: Engineering For Kids of North Atlanta is not a licensed childcare facility. This program is not required to be licensed by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning. The Decal KOALA application process has deemed that this program is exempt from state licensure requirements.

Price: $275.00 Taxes waived

Notes: Installments are available with early registration. Missed installments will result in the registration being canceled. Refunds must be requested by June 10, which is two weeks before the start date of the camp. The cost of the camp will not be prorated if a camper cannot attend the full week.
