Engineering For Kids of East Atlanta will be offering a summer camp at Christ the King School that is OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS, including students who are not enrolled at Christ the King School.

Camp Title: Urban Innovations with Minecraft: Scraping the Sky
Camp Description: Design, create, and make your very own city come alive with Engineering For Kids by exploring Urban Innovations with Minecraft! While applying the Engineering Design Process, the campers will immerse themselves in Minecraft to create a model of their very own futuristic, sustainable city. For instance, the campers will explore architecture and engineering to design and create their very own city skyscrapers. Further, the campers will explore how arts and entertainment enrich a city, making it an inviting place to live and call home by designing a city that fosters a sense of community, creativity, and visual interest in Minecraft! Engineering For Kids' programs are Cognia STEM Certified, STEM.org Accredited, and aligned with National Teaching Standards. Camp Title: Aerospace Engineers: Sky Riders
Camp Description: Fun and adventure will soar to new heights in Aerospace Engineers: Sky Riders! This camp will introduce our youngest engineers to fundamental concepts of aircraft and spacecraft design using the Engineering Design Process. Through open and focused exploration with hands-on individual and group activities, the campers will discover the forces that turn airplanes, helicopters, and rockets into sophisticated flying machines, and more! Engineering For Kids' programs are Cognia STEM Certified, STEM.org Accredited, and aligned with National Teaching Standards. Join Engineering For Kids of North Atlanta as we take to the skies!

Camp Description: Join the Young Inventors Workshop to explore multiple types of engineering such as Aerospace, Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Environmental, Marine, and Mechanical to invent new gadgets and explore creative design solutions. Using basic household and specialty supplies to complete individual and group projects, the campers will utilize the Engineering Design Process to make their imagination become a reality! Engineering For Kids' programs are Cognia STEM Certified, STEM.org Accredited, and aligned with National Teaching Standards. Camp Description: Gear up for an exciting week with Mechanical Engineers: Widgets & Gadgets! The campers will explore several of the mechanical forces that create movement in various machines. Using basic and household supplies for individual and group activities, they will work as mechanical engineers using the Engineering Design Process to create exciting, hands-on projects that spin, cascade, launch, pivot, dig, and race! Engineering For Kids’ programs are Cognia STEM Certified, STEM.org Accredited, and aligned with National Teaching Standards.
