Description:

Mechanical Engineering

Students will explore mechanical forces that create movement in various machines. Students will work as mechanical engineers to tackle hands-on engineering challenges that spin, cascade, launch, pivot, and race, all using our EFK Engineering Design Process. 

Robotics w/ Lego Spike - Amazing Amusement Park

In this class, students will explore the mechanical features of an amusement park.  Each week, students will tackle hands-on building challenges to help the mini-figure engineers design, create and improve wild & crazy rides using LEGO Spike Essential.  They will learn a variety of computer programming concepts such as sequences, loops, debugging, and more.  Students will use the EFK Engineering Design Process to innovate and improve their designs.

Required age: 7 - 11 on the day of the activity

Prerequisites: Students should be able to listen & follow directions.

More information: A lunch, 2 snacks & bottle of water will be provided for all FULL DAY campers.
