Zany Zoo Engineers

There is a big problem at your local zoo; the animals are very unhappyl They have outgrown their cages and are bored by their basic, concrete surroundings. In these lessons students will learn about engineering, mathematics, animals, and habitats while advancing their literacy skills through a variety of read alouds. They will work as zoo engineers and zoologists while using the EFK, Engineering Design Process to design and build solutions to a variety of engineering challenges.

Brick Building Lab -  Zoo Animals

Explore animal adaptations, habitats and biological diversity in this hands-on, life science program. With creative thinking and collaboration, learners connect with Earth’s biosphere while building with Lego style bricks.
