This Enrichment is offered through a partnership with InterGen Studio, and is funded by the federal New Horizons program. In these workshops, youth will learn skills for interviewing, recording, and editing.

Learning from Explorations educators as well as mentors from film and news professions, participants will get insightful training and hands-on experience with our hi-tech film equipment.

Participants can attend as many of the Saturday monring workshops as they wish. Each workshop ends with a free pizza lunch!

The intention of the program is for students to use the skills they have learned in the workshops by interviewing seniors in a follow-up meeting some time during the summer. These meetings will be hosted by Explorations, and scheduled according participants' availability. The follow-up interviews are not mandatory, just strongly encouraged. It's a small commitment, and provides a unique opportunity to develop new relationships that break down generational barriers.
