When you’re approaching animation one of the first things you need to be able to do is be able to draw.  You will need good solid drawing skills or drawing language which is trying to get nice a nice clear emotion on the screen because those ideas and notions will be translated onto the screen via animation.

In this class you will learn the fundamentals of animation Starting with two of the most basic and important principles of animation: Squash & Stretch  and Timing. Learn the concepts of setting up anticipation for movement and actions. Learn follow through and overlapping action along with arcs to make you animation more believable and fluid. This course will take you through the entire animation pipeline from storyboarding to visual development to character design to background layout design to animation and then putting it all together in post with Final Cut Pro.
