Children will experience the joy of singing while learning the fundamentals of music theory and vocal performance.  We will work on musicality, vocal technique & stamina, as well as rhythmic and harmonic sense through singing exercises, ear training, and repertoire development.  Through both solo and ensemble singing, students will gain confidence, practice collaboration, hone artistry, and develop a heart for worship. We will also explore the historical, cultural, and/or spiritual contexts behind the songs that we sing.  At the end of each semester, the choir will perform a concert.  At the end of the school year, we hope to perform a culminating concert. There is a $25 dollar production fee per student/per semester to help deter the costs of sheet music, facility rental, props, sound, etc.
