Description:

Taught by Cynthia Huynh

Macrame is a fiber art technique that involves knotting cords together in patterns to create functional and decorative items. In this beginner class, students will learn how to tie basic and commonly used macrame knots that will be the foundation of their creations. Some macrame projects that we will be working on include bottle holders, coasters, keychains, bookmarks, and ornaments. Students will get plenty of practice and master the basic knots while crafting their unique projects. Macrame is relaxing in nature and a great way to develop creativity while incorporating hand-eye coordination.
