Using the Following Narnia Volume 2: Aslan’s Country, which is a themed study of the IEW writing curriculum, students will have fun writing with structure and style. They will read the first three books of the Narnia series (The Magician's Nephew, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Horse and His Boy). They will write on topics from the Narnia stories, but also from history and science, while using all of the IEW structural models. Students will write, edit, and rewrite for their assignments. We will also do a Word Study weekly with selected words from C.S. Lewis’ books. Parent involvement at home is required for support, oversight, editing and typing.

• ISBN 978-1-62341-238-8
• Narnia books to bring to class
• Access to a computer
• A dictionary
• A thesaurus
