Description:

Do you love to emote and passionately express the music through movement? Then Open Lyrical is for you! This class will combine elements from Modern, Jazz, Ballet and Improvisation and will feature expressive combos in every class. Our "hearts will go on" in this fun and creative class.

*FLEX classes - Participants have the option of participating in the Division 3 the weekend of June 22. The class will consist of regular class work and choreography. A performer fee (under Membership tab: Adult 2024 Show Performance Fee) of $50 plus GST per performer is payable at the time of registration for those intersted in performing in the Division 3 show.

Required age: 17+ on the day of the activity

Notes: There are no specific dress requirements for adult classes, however it is recommended that you dress appropriately for a dance class. In most classes gym or yoga wear are suitable. Bodysuit and tights are optional for ballet. Long hair is best pulled back off the face. For men, t-shirts and shorts or gym pants are fine. Footwear: Jazz shoe (ballet slipper OK for beginners) or bare feet.

Prerequisites: Mixed level depending on the overall experience of the students in the class. Ballet, Jazz or Modern experience recommended but not required.
