Location: Seymour Heritage Park with regular visits to Maplewood Farm
Description:
2.5-4s Parent and Tot Discover the forest with your children! In this program, children ages 2.5-4 explore forest and farm environments with a parent or a caregiver. At forest school, we see children as curious, capable people who are able to express and explore their own interest in nature, with the support of loving adults. This program helps parents support the interests of their children as they play outdoors and gives children space to be capable, confident explorers. We will extend our explorations further into the park than we do in our 2-3-year-old program. We encourage preschoolers who would benefit from a parent’s presence for the entire year to participate in this program.
