Fresh Air Learning runs hands-on, play-based programs for children ages 0-13 and supports educators through professional development and mentorship.

Location: Lower Seymour Conservation Reserve with seasonal visits to Maplewood Farm
Description:
4-7s Do your children love to explore nature, engage in imaginary play, and become more confident and capable outdoors? At forest school, we see children as curious, capable people who are able to express and explore their own interest in nature, with the support of loving adults. This program is for curious children who would like to attend forest school independent from a parent. These programs venture further than our 3-6-year-old programs. For children who are new to attending programs independently, we will work with you to support your child’s connection to our facilitators as you gradually transition out of the program. If your child needs an additional support person to participate in the program, please connect with us to see how we can support your child’s participation.

Notes: *We are a teaching program and occasionally will have visitors from various education departments visiting. We ask that those folks refrain from taking any photographs or audio recordings of the sessions attended with your children. **Sliding scale scholarships are available on request.
