Description:
Provides entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide professional-level care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel take over.

Required age: 15+ as of 5/19/2024

Prerequisites: -Be at least 15 years of age on the last day of the course. -Successfully complete the online portion of the class before the first scheduled class day. -Successfully complete the pre-course skills session.
