WHY PILATES? If you’re looking for a way to get fit or to enhance your daily activities, Pilates - Tone, Strengthen & Stretch will help build a strong core, define your waistline, increase overall muscle tone, energy level, flexibility and balance and improve posture and coordination. Pilates involves alternating and repeating movements while holding your body and core still. Working your entire body, Pilates uses controlled movements, calming your mind, but demanding more of your muscles and control than balance-centered exercises. The Body SCULPT class precedes Pilates.
