Description:
Instuctor: Lesile Turner Students will build artistic skill and technique while engaging and honing their creativity. The class will begin by teaching students foundational drawing skills and working up to learning various painting techniques. Students will engage their creativity by trying many different paint varieties and techniques, from basic watercolor skills to more abstract methods such as acrylic paint pouring. Throughout the year, students will work on personal guided projects, as well as large-scale, collaborative projects with the rest of the class. Students will have the opportunity to showcase their work to the public each semester.
