Description:
Junior Bug campers spend the day learning about insects that dig, crawl and fly. Campers will learn how to safely catch, examine and release insects using nets, collection jars and other tools of the junior entomologist. They will also explore six habitats and collect insects to be entered into the "Bug Olympics" events at the end of the day. Registration opens on March 1. Campers may register for one session of each camp (Bug, Rock, Fish, Bird and Herp) but not both.

Required age: 6 - 8 on the day of the activity
Notes: Campers need to bring a lunch, two snacks and a water bottle and be dressed for outdoor activities and weather.
