Description:

Junior Bug campers spend the day learning about insects that dig, crawl and fly! Campers will learn how to safely catch, examine and release insects using nets, collection jars and other tools of the junior entomologist. They will also explore six habitats and collect insects to be entered into the "Bug Olympics" events at the end of the day. Campers need to be dressed for outdoor activities and weather and bring a lunch, two snacks and a water bottle.

Notes: Registration opens March 1 for the public. Friends of PEC may register early, beginning February 15 at 9 a.m. A Friends of PEC Family Membership is required for a child to register early.
