Description:

Junior Herpetology campers spend the day studying snakes, lizards, turtles, frogs, toads and salamanders under the supervision of PEC's staff naturalists. Using a variety of survey and observation techniques, campers will explore all of the "herp" habitats at PEC and practice safe ways to study reptiles and amphibians.

Campers need to be dressed for outdoor activities and weather and bring a lunch, two snacks and a water bottle.

Required age: 6 - 8 on the day of the activity

Notes: Registration opens March 1 for the public. Friends of PEC may register early, beginning February 15 at 9 a.m. A Friends of PEC Family Membership is required for a child to register early.
