Description:

Juneteenth is a time for reflection, remembrance and celebration. We will meet at Becky's and Mary's, one of High Point's oldest black-owned restaurants and located in a historic black community, for lunch as we discuss the hard history of slavery and the fight for freedom. There is no fee to attend, but participants are asked to purchase their own meal and to respect the thoughts and input of other attendees.
