Description:

This structured class uses music, games and play to create a fun-filled atmosphere with a parent or guardian there to help. Imagination will run wild as participants work through exciting circuits filled will fun colourful props. Students will explore fundamental movements such as jumping, hanging, climbing, balancing and supporting. Basic gymnastic body positions and simple stretching will be introduced and an emphasis will be placed on developing motor skills and coordination. This class is an opportunity to introduce social skills such as listening, sharing, taking turns and developing friendships. This is an excellent class for energetic toddlers to get an early start on an active lifestyle and development of physical literacy. Parents who enjoy seeing their child learn and have fun will be thoroughly impressed. A great ‘tire them out’ activity.

Notes: What you need to know about parented classes: Children other than participant in the Gym: • The preference is that there are NO other children in the gym as the attention needs to be on the participating child in parented classes. No siblings will be allowed to join the class. • If you need to bring an infant to the gym, please contact us in advance and understand the following rules: o Infant may NOT be held by the parent or attached to the parent in any way during the class. o Infant must be in a stroller or equivalent that can safely be positioned in the gym during the class. o An additional person may come with you to attend to the infant during the class. Please let us know in advance if this is your plan.
