Description:

Art is smart, and this class proves it! During this class we’ll explore S.T.E.A.M. (Science-Technology-Engineering-Art-Math) concepts in creative ways, resulting in fridge-worthy masterpieces, tons of experiential learning, and loads of messy fun. We’ll design our own mini playgrounds, learn about M.C. Escher and Picasso, make our own lava lamps, and more. This is no ordinary S.T.E.M. class!

Children should bring a nut-free snack and water bottle.

 

Summer 2024 Policies

By registering for this activity you acknowledge and agree to the following.

We use enrollment numbers for supplies planning and prep, and for staffing purposes. Activities will run with a minimum of 5 child registrations at the studio or 10 child registrations at our partner locations. So gather your child's friends for some artsy fun! If a minimum enrollment for an activity is not met, there is a chance the activity could be cancelled. If we cancel, we offer you a 100% refund. If an activity reaches the maximum enrollment, we may not be able to accommodate drop-in enrollments. We encourage you to pre-register to ensure that you have a spot.

Children, parents, and instructors agree to stay home if they are showing symptoms of ANY contagious disease. Attendees arriving sick will not be able to stay and will not receive any credit or refund, so we wish everyone to have a healthy season. Handwashing is required upon entry and encouraged frequently because making art is messy fun!

Drop-off activities require children to follow group instruction. Please note any behavioral information about your child in your registration so we can advise if we have the appropriate accommodations available during the activity. Children who are not able to follow group instruction or who are not bathroom-independent are not eligible for drop-off activities. Instead, a caregiver can accompany them to available Parent & Me/Child activities that can be found on our class schedule. Please contact the studio if you have questions about whether the activity is right for your child.

Missed activities are not eligible for credits or refunds. If you need to cancel ahead of your activity for any reason, including sickness, please review the cancellation requests information below.

Camp Cancellation Policies:

Summer camps are not eligible for refunds but using the following as a guide, studio credit may be available to you.

• A 90% studio credit towards future purchases will be offered on cancelled camps up to 30 days prior to the camp start date.
• A 50% studio credit towards future purchases will be offered on cancelled camps up to 14 days prior to the camp start date.
• Cancellations within 14 days before camp are not eligible for credit.
• No credits or make-ups will be given for illness or missed camps that are not cancelled 14 days prior to the camp start date. There is no cash or credit value to a missed activity.
• Cancellation requests must be received in writing and are easiest to match to your account by replying directly to your purchase confirmation email.
