Learn and explore the beauty of Eastern brush painting as a form of naturalistic presentation and symbolic expression. The meditative painting process allows participants to immerse themselves with a clear mind and body awareness. Calligraphy, landscape painting, and “The Four Gentlemen” - bamboo, plum, orchid and chrysanthemum will be explored. In the workshop, participants will enjoy hands-on demonstrations and group practice. Individual creative exploration will be strongly encouraged with one on one guidelines. At the end, you will create your own style of brush painting works. All levels are welcome.
