Description:
One Week Only: Junior Wildlife Biologists Join Conserve Wildlife Foundation scientists to engage in authentic field work, learning about various wildlife fields and impacts of human activities on our environments. Under the guidance of our experts, campers will explore different methods to study at-risk species. From observation techniques to the use of modern technologies, such as GPS tracking, campers will gain firsthand knowledge and hands-on experience in wildlife research. Campers will participate in a range of activities, including monitoring diamondback terrapin nests, enhancing habitat for wildlife species, exploring the marsh ecosystem to identify fauna and flora, and contributing to important pollinator populations. This week will culminate in a special opportunity to explore insects from around the world, providing campers with a fascinating glimpse into the diversity of insect life and their ecological importance.

Required age: 10 - 12 on the day of the activity
