Birders of all skill levels are welcome to join an expert birder every 2nd Saturday this Spring at 7:30 A.M. as we explore prime birding locations along LLELA's nature trails. Ages 10 and up.  

*REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED and cost is $5 per class + entry fee to LLELA of $5 per vehicle, payable by debit or credit only. Season passes can be purchased online.* 

As this event maxes out very quickly, registration for each month's hike will begin 14 days out from the event date. 

*24 hour cancellation is kindly requested*

Due to the Full Circle Trail Race, there is no April bird hike.  Birders, please consider joining us April 6 for the Big Sit.  Details and registration for the Big Sit can be found at friendsofllela.org

Required age: 10+ on the day of the activity

Notes: **KNOW BEFORE YOU GO** DRESS FOR THE WEATHER and for primitive trail conditions. Wear closed-toe shoes. Long pants are always recommended. We recommend bringing a full (and refillable) water bottle for each person. Sweet drinks such as sodas and sports drinks may attract wasps and bees. Respect wildlife. The City of Lewisville protects wildlife and their native habitats. Please respect the animals and plants at all times. We ask all visitors to Leave No Trace: Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but memories, kill nothing but time. Outdoor programs are often at locations with no running water. Be prepared to use our clean portable toilets if necessary.
