Notes: **KNOW BEFORE YOU GO** DRESS FOR THE WEATHER and for primitive trail conditions. Wear closed-toe shoes. Long pants are always recommended. We recommend bringing a full (and refillable) water bottle for each person. Sweet drinks such as sodas and sports drinks may attract wasps and bees. Respect wildlife. The City of Lewisville protects wildlife and their native habitats. Please respect the animals and plants at all times. We ask all visitors to Leave No Trace: Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but memories, kill nothing but time. Outdoor programs are often at locations with no running water. Be prepared to use our clean portable toilets if necessary. Regarding cancellations: We rarely cancel programs except for rain or lightning. In case of cancellation, staff will contact you and you will receive a refund. If you fail to show up for a program which was not canceled, there is no refund.
