Au cours de cette semaine de camp de jour spécialisé, les enfants découvriront l’univers d’Emily Carr. Cette artiste canadienne moderniste originaire du Canada travaillait au début du 20e siècle. Ils seront immergés dans l’art de l’Ouest canadien et s’imprègneront du style moderniste des artistes canadadiens afin de créer dans le style mis en vogue par Emily Carr et le Groupe des sept. La semaine sera conclue par un vernissage qui mettra à l’honneur les œuvres créées durant les ateliers.

During this week of specialized day camp, children will discover the world of Emily Carr. This Canadian modernist artist from Canada worked at the beginning of the 20th century. They will be immersed in the art of Western Canada and immerse themselves in the modernist style of Canadian artists in order to create in the style favoured by Emily Carr and the Group of Seven. The week will conclude with a vernissage featuring the works created during the workshops.
