Waterbugs is a one week course designed specifically to introduce younger kids to the basics of sailing. For those that might not be quite ready for our core curriculum classes, it is a fun way for kids to safely learn the joys of sailing with confidence. Plenty of personal attention with small class sizes.

Required age: 8 - 9 on the day of the activity

Prerequisites: 8 years of age prior to course start date. Swim Test:  Conducted in the pool the first day of each on-the-water course. Tread water for 2 minutes, then swim any stroke for 50 yards (two pool lengths).
