The perfect introduction! Designed to introduce the basics of baseball (hitting, throwing, catching, and running), players hit a soft ball off a tee and run to a (squeaky!) first base. As the players progress and learn the concept of safe or out after running, the second base is added, and so on.

All MPCC sports programs for children are proudly COED and welcome players from all neighbourhoods, abilities and skill levels.

Each player receives a t-shirt! Please select your child's size as part of checkout.

Required age: 4 - 5 on the day of the activity

Notes: Grass field, soft bats and soft baseballs mean that no equipment is required for this fun game! Players can bring gloves, but they are not required. Classes will only be postponed due to severe weather (extreme heat or thunderstorms). If forced to postpone, the MPCC will notify families by email and text messages. Postponed weeks will be made up at the end of the session. Refunds will NOT be offered in the event of a government-imposed or Covid-19 related shutdown. Credits (pro-rated if the program has started) will be issued in lieu.
