Volunteers are a key part of the Ottawa Marathon Race Weekend! You can be part of the action – right here in Manor Park – by volunteering to help at the ‘Hydration Station’. Each year, it takes over 50 volunteers to fill and serve 20,000 cups of water or electrolyte replacement. And – it’s fun!

NEW LOCATION 2024: The ‘Hydration Station’ has been moved to the intersection of Birch Ave and Sir Goerge Etienne Cartier Parkway.

Volunteer by clicking the register button above.

Price: $0.00 Taxes waived

Notes: Volunteers must be 10 years or older. Volunteers should review the training information provided to them via email. On marathon Sunday, volunteers should be prepared to arrive at 6am and remain until the last walker / runner passes the station around noon. Work will include preparing and serving water and electrolyte replacement; and clean-up.  Some lifting is required. Volunteers should dress for the weather in comfortable clothing and shoes. Volunteers are advised to leave their valuables at home as there is no space to secure them on site. Washrooms are limited to porta-potties supplied for the event. No previous volunteering experience is necessary!
