Fall Programs 2020 | Online Adult Programs - Lakeshore (16+) | Adult Nutrition for Active Kids

This 6-week program offered Monday evenings will give parents the knowledge to fuel their kids for their sport and athletic activities. Whether your kids are just getting started or competing in a sport – nutrition is a key component of their success. Each one-hour session, conducted live on ZOOM, will include tips and tricks, easy, kid friendly recipes, and live cooking demonstrations with a certified nutritionist. Topics include how to fuel for performance, what to feed your kids before and after sport activities, why hydration is important and more!

This program will also include a Private Facebook Group for participants. Recipes and video library of classes will be posted for participants to view as well as continued online group discussions with a network of Mayfair Clubs community of parents!  

You can expect to see results in your kids including more energy, faster recovery, & better overall performance in sport and school. This program is great for families with active children any age!

 

About the Facilitator:

Seanna Thomas has been a Registered Holistic Nutritional Consultant for over a decade and is Mom to three very active kids. She has worked as a food educator for families, sports teams, and corporations, both in person and online. Now she conducts hands-on team nutrition workshops and parent/coach seminars for teams of all sports. Seanna has appeared frequently on local television and in multiple publications discussing health, wellness, and creating simple recipes. Seanna’s nutrition philosophy focuses on realistic clean eating for young athletes including how to eat for ultimate performance.

  • Monday October 26th : Pre Sport Fuel
  • Monday November 2nd : Post Sport Fuel
  • Monday November 9th : The Importance of Hydration
  • Monday November 16th : Fueling for Competition
  • Monday November 23rd : Off Season Nutrition
