Description:

Make sure to read in detail on the TAC website the important information in regards to the Lifeguard Certifiication portion and the requirements of each participant.

Coure Schedule:  Please note that certification courses can go longer than orginially scheduled or could possibily end earlier on one day.  This is not somethiing that we can predict in advance as the time is dependent on participants abiliity to demonstrate all required skills to mastery.

This schedule is for all courses dates listed/offered in April and any adjustments should that occur would be communicated directly to all participants.  

  • Friday: 4:00pm - 9:00pm
  • Saturday:  2:00pm - 7:00pm
  • Sunday:  8:00am - 7:00pm  (a lunch break will be built in on Sunday)

 

Required age: 15+ on the day of the activity

Notes: Detailed information on the course as well as the online blended learning will be emailed to each registered participant 2 weeks prior to the first day of the in person portion of the course. If you need the online portion prior to 2 weeks, please reach out to certifications@triangleaquatics.org

Prerequisites: 1. Provide proof of identity and age. Participants must be at least 15 years old on or before the final scheduled session of the course. 2. Successfully complete Lifeguard Certification Pre-Course: Water Skills Requirement Class. This prerequisite swimming skills evaluation is designed to confirm that participants have the physical ability to successfully participate in the training. The evaluation includes an endurance swim that includes treading water using only the legs, and a timed event that involves retrieving a 10-pound submerged object, swimming it back to the exit point and exiting the water without using a ladder or steps.
