Description:
Growing up mixed race and Jewish drove Tema to dedicate her professional life to working towards a more racially inclusive and equitable Jewish community. In this conversation, Tema will open up a space to reflect on what we do well and what we can do better to ensure that we address and root out racism inside our own community. About Tema: Tema Smith is a diversity advocate, writer and Jewish community builder. She is currently the Director of Professional Development at 18Doors and a Contributing Columnist at The Forward. She is a noted speaker and educator on racial equity and diversity in the Jewish community who consults, teaches and trains regularly in Jewish communities across North America. We are committed to accessibility. This event will have auto-captioning.
