Description:

The Active Aging fitness assessment was created for members who have age-related health concerns or complications.

This one-on-one session is structured like an initial personal training assessment.  You will receive an individualized evaluation that will be conducted by a fitness professional who specializes in training people with age-related health issues.  The goal of this assessment is to give you an overview of your strengths, along with areas that need more care and attention.  Our focus is on safety, comfort and setting the foundations for beginning your fitness journey with confidence. We will establish baselines like your resting heart rate, set guidelines for reaching feasible and effective goals, take you thorough a postural analysis, a balance and flexibility test, and assess your cardio fitness, mobility and strength capabilities while performing some functional exercises.  All the exercises in this assessment will be modified according to your ability.
