Description:

This group accepts players and goalies that will be playing U9/U10 in the upcoming season.

Athletes will receive 10 ice times that focus on the following:

• Power skating techniques
• Skill development: introductory shooting, checking, and passing
• Rules of ringette
• Basics of each ringette position
• Defensive and offensive strategies
• Teamwork
• Scrimmage time
• Fun

When the athletes are off the ice they will participate in a variety of age-appropriate activites to help develop their athletic abilities and ringette skills.  The activities will range from introductory fitness sessions, discussions about nutrition, strategy, rules and team building games.

Required age: 6 - 18 as of 1/1/2018

Notes: Camps typically run from 8:00am to 4:00pm; or 8:30am to 4:30pm but may vary somewhat at certain camps. Confirmed times will be sent as the camp approaches. If you have concerns about times please contact our office, 403-284-5161, or questions@nationalringetteschool.com.

Prerequisites: Some exceptions may be made for athletes born in 2011 depending on their experience and ability. Note: The ages listed under "Required Age" are general age restrictions for our camps overall. Please follow the group's age requirements (i.e. 2007-2008 Birthdates) as listed.
