For 2024 –

This group is open to AA goalies born in 2009, 2010.  Exceptions for 2011 playing U14AA.

Timing: The day will begin between 7:30-8:15am and end between 4:00-4:30pm.  A confirmed start and end time will be sent out two weeks prior to the camp.  We are unable to offer pre-care or post-care.

Parents are not required to stay for the duration of the day.  They may come and spectate, however it is not a time to interact with your child.  We ask that they stay with their group at all times.

Instructors will be present in the dressing rooms to assist the participants in getting ready for each ice time.

Lunch: Participants will pack along their own nut-free lunches and snacks.  They will also provide their own full equipment, stick, towel (to sit on outside) and water bottles.

Phones: Participants are NOT permitted to use their phones during camp hours.  Phones must be left in the dressing room, inside a pocket or bag, at all times.  If they must have them along at camp, neither the facility, nor NRS is responsible for any theft or damage.

TOP GUN PROGRAMMING:

Open to competitive players born in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 currently playing or likely to be playing AA in the upcoming season.

Participants can expect a challenging program which includes 14 ice times (15hours total).  Their days will include the following:

  • The last ice session of each day will be a scrimmage where athletes have the opportunity to show off newly acquired skills.
  • 1 fitness session
  • 1 mental training session
  • 1 strategy session, and
  • 1 team building activity.

This is a physically demanding program that focuses on conditioning, endurance and advanced ringette skills.  Take home materials from the off ice sessions will be provided to the athletes at the end of the week.

Top Gun camps feature 14 ice times (15hrs total) which will focus on the following:

  • Power, agility and conditioning skating instruction
  • Advanced ringette skills to further refine the athlete’s development in situational play,
  • Being successful defensively and offensively in 1 on 1, 2 on 1, 2 on 2 situations,
  • Overall technique refinement and feedback.

Goaltenders: will participate in drills with the whole group and will also get the chance to work individually with our goalie instructor.  Skill instruction will focus on a variety of skills: skating, basic stance, glove positioning, stick save, tracking, ring distribution, butterfly and agility.   Goalies will participate in decision training drills and will also discover the keys to remaining flexible throughout the season.

  • Goalies pay 50% of regular registration fees.

Notes: Administration fee: This fee is a non-refundable fee used to help offset the costs associated with credit card transactions and costs incurred prior to the delivery of the program. The Administration Fee is applied to each order, not each individual registration. Therefore, if a family is registering more than one child the fee is only applied once. In the event of a camp cancellation this fee will not be refunded. Read "Policies" for further refund/cancellation policies.

Prerequisites: GOALIES REGISTER HERE. This group is open to competitive players born in 2009, 2010 currently playing or likely to be playing AA in the upcoming season.
