Description:

NKB's FitSwim program is a swimming program for children aged 14 years and older (13 & Older if Level 5 in Junior Barracudas previously completed) who are interested in the fitness, training, and skills of a competitive based program in a less competitive environment. 

This program focuses on developing and improving stroke technique and on building swimmer endurance. Practices are offered three (3) times per week, with an optional competition in the spring.

Notes: Calendars - Important Scheduling Note: While we strive to maintain regular schedule, there are times that events and training needs impact the schedule. Therefore, we post updated calendars monthly that reflect these changes. Please be to check your calendar, which can be found by going to our website, www.swimNKB.com, selecting Group Calendars to the right of the main picture, and then selecting FitSwim from the drop down menu. Office hours can also be found in the same location, on the General Calendar. For practice, swimmers will need a swim suit, cap (optional for boys), and goggles. Caps worn must be NKB caps, and all swimmers receive one free latex cap with registration. Silicone or additional caps can be purchased from the coach or NKB office. Swimmers are encouraged to bring personal training equipment (kickboards, fins, and pull buoys) if they already own them, but they will also be provided at the pool when needed.
