Welcome to The Lion King at Brook Haven! This is an after-school program for students registered at Brook Haven Middle School. Thanks to Sebastopol Unified School District's commitment to the arts, there is no cost to participate in this program.

Bring the African savanna to life on your stage with Simba, Rafiki, and an unforgettable cast of characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again in this inspiring, coming-of-age tale.

The Lion King JR. features classic songs from the Broadway musical and animated feature film, including “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King,” “He Lives in You,” and “Hakuna Matata.” Young performers will also get the chance to learn a wide range of new theatrical skills—such as mask-making and puppetry—encouraging them to explore this beloved story with creativity and pride.

Students must be available for all rehearsals. Please check your calendar before registering. Tech students welcome. Please email vanessaf@northbaytheatrics.org after registering if your student plans to be on the crew. Crew will have a specific rehearsal schedule and will not be called to all rehearsals.
